HARD WORK AND PASSION RESULT IN A SECOND BUSINESS
Pam Matherne went to the Ephraim, Utah SBDC with her passion and drive for owning a small business. Pam bought a heard of goats and a small farm to raise them on. She has successfully been raising goats and has found a market for selling them. This was just the beginning; Pam has now opened a second business. Lovey's Pet Grooming located in Manti, Utah. Thanks to the help she received from the SBDC, she is now a proud owner of two businesses.
CAFE ITALIANO
Owner, Huseyin Deniz. Stop by for a selection of fantastic coffees, smoothies, and freshly squeezed juices. Served up with panini's and croissants, all from a green food truck in the heart of Moab, Utah.
A GREAT FOUNDATION HAS SAVOLOGY WELL ON THEIR WAY
Savology's connection to the SBDC continues to this day. The SBDC has helped them secure office space nearby where they can meet with the SBDC intermittently to consult and solve problems. While Savology still has a lot of work to do to grow into the successful and impactful company that we want to be, we are building on a strong foundation and are well on our way to reach our mission-driven goals of increasing the financial security of millions of American households.
GROWING GLOBAL ATTENTION EXPANDS LOCAL UTAH BUSINESS
The SBDC's support, guidance, connections, and training have been instrumental as our exports have grown from just a few countries to global distribution. The growing global attention has fueled awareness and excitement. We are grateful for the SBDC.
SMASH IT SOARS THROUGH FIRST YEAR OF BUSINESS TO OPEN THIRD LOCATION
Owners, Madison and Braeden Furgeson, started a "rage room" business where customers can smash and destroy items in a safe and controlled space.

TREASURE TOWER REWARDS
When COVID hit I received an email from the Salt Lake SBDC that funding was available. Those funds have enabled us to keep all nine of our employees with their full paychecks, and now business is picking up.
