Keene Perspectives Use COVID19 Crisis for Introspection & Guidance
As owners of a behavioral health center serving children with autism and other developmental disorders, Cortney and Chris worked with their VtSBDC advisor to manage their business through the pandemic. The family-owned business worked with FedEx for discounted shipping rates to enhance domestic exports and 7-day residential delivery across the U.S. Nu Chocolat can assess shipping rates based upon regions and demographics, enabling them to compete with chocolatiers across the country. With advice and guidance from their VtSBDC advisor, the Toohey family has expanded their business and is achieving their goals.

New App Developed by College Students Makes Runners Feel Safer Running Alone
College students Riley Seith and Mackenzie George count on their VtSBDC advisor as they plan the launch of Laces, a running app with the tools to help runners feel safer running alone. The app is currently in development. They rely on their VtSBDC advisor for invaluable support to their business connecting them with resources, helping organize their vision, and being incredibly communicative.
